The day will be filled with family-friendly events including K-9 demonstrations, jail tours (ages 12 and up), law enforcement presentations, troop carrier rides, a buggy obstacle course, balloon art, face painting, games for kids, giveaways, refreshments and music.The sheriff’s office will also issue child ID cards and senior medical ID cards. Scouts can earn the special Girl Scout Patch and Boy Scouts can work towards badges.
Some marine patrol units and sheriff’s vehicles will be on display and the emergency response team will demonstrate its methods and equipment.All activities are free and open to the public.
