Start the day with a Walk with a Doc, led by Dr. Puneet Gandotra of Northwell Health’s Southside Cardiology. Walk with a Doc is an international walking program with the mission of inspiring communities through movement and conversation. We will meet at the Nathaniel Conklin House in Babylon Village at 1 p.m. Dr. Gandotra will give a brief health talk before he leads us on a one-hour walk.
Walk around the lake and through the streets of Babylon Village to end up at the Conklin House. Along the way, learn some rules of the road to keep pedestrians safe as they walk and take advantage of free health screenings when the walk finishes at the Conklin House.
This event will kick off Long Island Mobility Week, a week-long celebration where villages, towns, cities, counties and other organizations are invited to showcase their commitment to clean and sustainable transportation options.Don’t miss out on a day of fun in beautiful Babylon Village.
