More About Our 2024 Walk with a Doc Series
Are you over 50? Health issues can sneak up on us! 6 in 10 adults have at least one chronic disease and 4 in 10 have two or more. The good news? You have the power to manage and even prevent many chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and more with simple diet and exercise changes.
Join AARP Long Island, its partner the Long Island Health Collaborative, and local physicians for our 2024 Walk with a Doc series on the third Saturday of May, June, September, and October. Get in some steps, talk with our docs along the way, and learn about the actions you can take now to live a healthier life for good.
Talk with a Doc is a series of FREE community walking events held in May, June, September, and October of 2024. AARP membership not required.
