At Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, we’re proud to be on the path to becoming a Primary Stroke Center, which means faster diagnosis, treatment, and recovery for stroke patients — right here close to home. As a hospitalist, I help coordinate every step of that care, from the moment a patient arrives through recovery and discharge, working closely with our teams and Stony Brook University Hospital when needed. Knowing the warning signs, acting fast, and investing in our hospital’s mission all help save lives and strengthen our community’s future.
