Event Link: Coping with Loss and Grief
The Coronavirus pandemic has caused losses for everyone in different ways: Loss of jobs, of routines, of irreplaceable experiences, of loved ones, of our sense of safety and control. It can be difficult to know how to cope with this spectrum of losses. Some of us may judge ourselves for feeling upset about our experiences when we know other people are suffering more intensely. Others may resent those around them for complaining about things that may seem less significant, like missing graduations or vacations – yet all of these losses are valid and deserve to be recognized and mourned. This webinar will address the variety of losses people have experienced throughout the pandemic and as we start to return to more typical activities in a changed environment and ways to cope compassionately with our own and others’ grief.
