The Color Vibe, a family-friendly 5K company, is coming to Eisenhower Park on July 28, 2018 bright and early at 8am. The Bright & Bold 2018 Tour promises an energetic, color-filled Saturday morning to the people of Long Island. The Color Vibe isn’t just an average 5K for those few and far between avid runners. Color Vibe caters to all individuals whose goal is to have fun while getting insanely colorful in the process. It’s simple - runners show up decked out in their best white attire and watch themselves transform into human rainbows as they run, walk or dance their way through the course. The event doesn’t end when the runners cross the finish line. Everyone is encouraged to dance their hearts out at the after party that is led by a professional DJ who gives away free Color Vibe swag and leads picture-worthy color throws.
The Color Vibe understands the importance of giving and has partnered with over 150 charities across the nation over the last six years. This year in Long Island a portion of every runner registration will be donated to Empowerment Collaborative of Long Island Inc. (ECLI). Empowerment Collaborative of Long Island is a 501(c)(3) trauma focused human service organization dedicated to reducing the incidences and impact of abuse through education and supportive services such as crisis intervention, advocacy, and transition to independence.
