The New York State Division of Veterans' Affairs and the New York State Office for the Aging are honored to invite you to a special forum about services for older Veterans and their family members. Executives from both agencies will discuss available benefits, programs, and services for Veterans and their families on Long Island.
In addition, this program will feature presentations by leaders from Nassau-Suffolk Legal Services, the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Veteran Peer Support Project, the Center for Independent Living, the Veterans Service Agencies and Offices for the Aging from both Nassau and Suffolk Counties . . . and more!
Following the presentation, representatives from each agency will remain on site to answer questions and meet with attendees individually. Each attendee will also receive $20 in Fresh Connect Checks to redeem for fresh produce at any farmer's market in New York State.
Admission is free. The program begins at 1:30 p.m. on July 17 at Touro Law School (225 Eastview Drive) in Central Islip. Ample parking is available on site.
