What is the Long Island Health Collaborative?

The LIHC (we pronounce it, "LIKE") is the hub of population health activities on Long Island.
It's a coalition that includes Nassau and Suffolk county health departments, every hospital on Long Island,
health and social service community-based organizations, insurance plans,
academic institutions, local governments, and other groups
that are working together toward a healthier Long Island community.

What does that mean for you? It means that people who actually live and work on Long Island
are making sure your health needs are heard and met in ways that make sense for you.
